This site was started by a regular American, Shawn Summerer, in November of 2011. Frustrated with the inaction of our federal government, he decided to start a collaborative website where people can share actual ideas and plans to tackle the hard decisions our elected officials refuse to deal with. Let's see if we can find some solutions if they won't.
Shawn, the acting moderator of this site, has never held public office but has always followed politics. He tends to drift liberal on most subjects (especially the social issues), but fiscally drifts more conservative.
If you wish to join the discussion, please become a follower and read what currently exists on each topic. Feel free to give your two cents. But most importantly, we are looking for new ideas. So post how you think the ideas already presented can be improved or compromised. Or, if you feel it's necessary, why the current ideas should be thrown out and give us an alternative approach.
